My kids loved playdough.
They could play with the stuff forever. So could my kindergartners, if I let them. So here’s a fun take on playdough: edible playdough. It’s fun and the kids can eat it after they’ve molded the clay into a masterpiece.
Here’s what you’ll need
1 (18 oz.) jar of peanut butter
6 tbsp.of honey
1/2 cup of dried milk
Mix the peanut butter and honey.
Add the dried milk until you get a consistency similar to clay. (By the way, if you want chocolate clay, add some cocoa.)
Then have the kids get creative. Have them make animals, or stars, or various shapes, or whatever strikes their fancy.
That’s it. Oh, and after the kids have made their creations, let them eat their yummy stuff. And, of course, you should have them wash their hands before they start!
Here’s a great video on how to make the edible playdough.
